About Jordan
Proud to be both a fourth-generation Idahoan and the son of a Guatemalan immigrant, Morales graduated from Boise State University with a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship Management. He currently works at Boise State University where he manages the computer science department.
Jordan has extensive civic volunteer experience including his service as a substitute state representative for House Minority Leader Ilana Rubel and Rep. Brooke Green, five years as Ada County Chief Judge of Elections, founding Idaho caucus chair of the Latter-day Saint Dems, and appointee to the Secretary of State’s post-election audit team.
Morales was one of the applicants and finalists for the at-large seat recently opened by Councilmember Elaine Clegg’s departure, and is proud to be supported and endorsed by House Minority Leader Ilana Rubel.
When asked about her support of his campaign, Rubel said, “I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Jordan for nearly a decade, and have witnessed first-hand his commitment to this community and this city. He’s the kind of next-generation leader with the energy, passion, and real-life experience that we need at every level of government, and I enthusiastically endorse him to represent us on Boise City Council!”
Morales is the proud husband to his wife, Katie, and father of three young children. They own a home in Southeast Boise’s Columbia Village, where they enjoy a great community of neighbors and nearby family.
